Pacoima Crash Leaves One Dead and Five Injured

A motorcyclist was killed and five others were injured in a crash involving two vehicles on the Riverside 91 Freeway in Pacoima on Friday night, authorities said.

The crash occurred at about 8 p.m. on the eastbound 91 Freeway near the Osborne Street on-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A motorcycle collided with a Toyota Camry and a Chevrolet Silverado, the CHP reported.

The motorcyclist, a 17-year-old girl, was pronounced dead at the scene, the CHP said.

The drivers of the Camry and the Silverado were not injured.

Three passengers in the Camry were injured and taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the CHP said.

A passenger in the Silverado was also injured and taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the CHP said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
