Elections to Determine New City Council

Leipzig residents will head to the polls in June 2024 to elect a new City Council. The Council is responsible for making important decisions affecting the city, including budget allocation, land use planning, and public services.

Key Information for Voters

The 2024 municipal elections will take place on June 15, 2024. All eligible Leipzig residents are encouraged to participate.

To be eligible to vote, residents must be:

* 18 years of age or older * German citizens or EU citizens living in Leipzig * Registered to vote at their current address
