Rafael Nadal came through three sets on his favorite court to set up a match with Novak Djokovic at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Djokovic, the 37-year-old from Serbia, leads the head-to-head series 30-29 and his 24 grand slam titles make him the only man in tennis history with more than 20.

Nadal, who is two years younger than Djokovic, has won 22 grand slam titles and is one of the greatest clay-court players of all time. He will be looking to add to his Olympic medal tally, which currently stands at one gold and three silvers.

The match between Djokovic and Nadal is sure to be one of the most anticipated of the 2024 Olympics. It will be a rematch of the 2021 French Open final, which Djokovic won in four sets.

Djokovic is the defending Olympic champion, having won the gold medal in singles at the 2012 London Games. He also won the bronze medal in doubles at the 2008 Beijing Games.

Nadal has never won an Olympic gold medal in singles, but he did win the gold medal in doubles at the 2016 Rio Games.

The match between Djokovic and Nadal is scheduled to take place on July 28, 2024.
